Privacy Policy

This policy applies to Mazdoor Adda, operated by Aevon Labs Pvt Ltd, Gurugram, India. For any privacy question, write to damankhatri111@gmail.com.

• Mobile number: collected at sign-up and verified by OTP through our SMS partner.
• Profile details: your name, email address, photo (optional), and for workers, your work category.
• Location: the latitude and longitude, PIN code and city you provide or allow your device to share, used only to show you nearby work and nearby workers.
• Listing content: work posts you create, including title, description, budget, dates and contact numbers.
• Payment information: subscription and payment status received from Razorpay. We never see or store your full card number, UPI PIN, CVV or bank credentials.
• Usage information: basic logs such as pages visited and errors, used to keep the service working.

• To create and operate your account and verify that your mobile number is genuine.
• To show workers the work posted near them, and to show employers the workers available near them.
• To let a subscribed user contact the other party by phone or WhatsApp.
• To process subscription payments and confirm your subscription status.
• To send you service messages such as OTPs and payment confirmations.
• To prevent fraud, misuse and abuse of the platform, and to comply with law.

• Your name, photo, work category, city and approximate distance are visible to other users of the platform.
• Your phone and WhatsApp number are shown only to users who hold an active paid subscription: to employers so they can offer you work, and to workers so they can respond to work you posted.
• Your exact coordinates and your email address are never displayed to other users.
• If you do not want your contact details shared, do not create a listing, or write to us to have your listing removed.

We share personal information only with:

• Razorpay Software Private Limited: to process subscription payments.
• Our SMS provider: to deliver OTP messages to your mobile number.
• Supabase: our database and hosting provider, which stores the data on our behalf.
• Law enforcement or regulators: where we are required to do so by law or valid legal process.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone for marketing purposes.

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your profile and listings from the platform, and retain only what we are legally required to keep: for example payment and tax records, which are retained for the period prescribed by Indian law.

• Access: ask us what personal information we hold about you.
• Correction: update your profile in the app at any time, or ask us to correct it.
• Deletion: ask us to delete your account and listings.
• Withdraw consent: including location permission, which you can turn off in your device settings at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, write to damankhatri111@gmail.com from your registered email address. We respond within 30 days.

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access-controlled databases and OTP-based login to protect your information. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, and we will notify affected users of any breach that is likely to cause them harm.

The platform is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, write to us and we will remove the account.

We use a small number of essential cookies and local browser storage to keep you logged in and to remember your language preference. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
